Appendix B - ISDN G4 Option 115
Direct Dialling In Service: In this service available in point-to-
multipoint transmissions, numbers can be assigned to terminals in addi-
tion to their subscriber numbers. This service makes it possible to termi-
nate calls at specified terminals.
Multiple Subscriber Number (MSN) Restriction: This function is used
in combination with direct inward dialling to check if the number of the
incoming call matches an MSN in the machine’s database. If not, the call
is rejected.
Sub-Address Service: Sub-addresses are most commonly used when
faxing point-to-multipoint (P-MP). In addition to the telephone number of
the remote location, the user must also know and input the sub-addresses
of the terminals that the fax is directed to.
