34: PAPER SIZE CHECK: This mode is enabled only when your
machine operates in “Down Load Print” mode.
Set to ON - your machine detects any paper size error when the
paper size specified by the down loaded command and that set at the
terminal differ.
Set to OFF - it does not detect the above paper size error.
Note 1: With Option I/F Mode set to ‘MFPI’, this function is disabled.
Note 2: This function is only active when the 1284 option board is
installed.
35: PRINT JOB T.O.: In “Down Load Print” and “Flatbed Scanner”
modes, when data-transfer interruption (due to Centronics I/F malfunction
etc.) results in time-out, the data-transfer monitoring timer automatically
switches the machine from Print Mode to FAX Stand-by Mode to prevent
print operation from being locked. The set values of data-transfer timeout
are 5 sec., 30 sec., and 5 min. where 30 sec. is set as default.
Note 1: With Option I/F Mode set to ‘MFPI’, the function is disabled.
Note 2: This function is only active when the 1284 option board is
installed.
36: FLATBED TX MODE: This function selects the default resolution
for FAX TX when a Flatbed Scanner is connected.
Set to STD - Transmission with 8 dots/mm x 7.7 lines/mm
resolution.
Set to FINE - Transmission with 300 x 300-dpi resolution.
Note 1: With Option I/F Mode set to ‘MFPI’, the function is disabled.
Note 2: This function is only active when the 1284 option board is
installed.
37: FLATBED TX T.O: This function selects a timeout to wait between
pages for receive data in FAX TX when a Flatbed Scanner is connected.
The set values of timeout are off, 30 sec., and 1 min.
Note 1: With Option I/F Mode set to ‘MFPI’, the function is disabled.
Note 2: This function is only active when the 1284 option board is
installed.
