Appendix C - MFP PC Interface Kit

MFP option kit

After installing the software provided into a host computer and connecting

it to your fax, the machine will be capable of printer, scanner and Facsim-

iled functions in addition to its normal operation.

Once the MFP software is installed you can:

• Use your fax machine as a local printer.

• Send fax messages directly from your computer.

• Receive and store fax messages directly into your computer.

• Scan pages from your fax machine into your computer.

• Carry out optical character recognition (OCR) on received faxes or

scanned pages.
